Those of you who know me well, know that I came into training camp with a broken heart. And when I shared the story I blamed him for not committing to me.

If you have heard the story of Adam and Eve you will know that Eve manipulated Adam to take a bid of the Apple and her consequence was pregnancy pain. What I didn’t realize was her second consequence was “you will desire to control your husband, but he will rule over you.”- Genesis 3:16

I was seeking a covenant relationship, but I was not willing to TRUST and FOLLOW his service leadership. Although it was pure intentions I was trying to manipulate him into the man I wanted him to be, instead of respecting him by speaking the truth then stepping back and allowing him to become the man God wanted him to be.

We loved each other, but I choose to not respect by not following his leadership and in return he didn’t pursue me. God has given me closure through his word and I was able to repent and receive a blessing (Joel 2:14). My heart was finally able to close the wounds and is ready to give freely again. ??

Now ladies don’t get me wrong: men and women should be equal in life, in work, in dating, but when you want a relationship be ready to trust his service leadership and if not let him be free.

Training camp is officially done and am at the airport writing this. Chicago here we come!!

  3. I shared it to your facebook messenger. I especially enjoyed today’s online church service from back home because of the Children’s Sermon and it included “Do You Hear What I Hear?” with flute and the Bell Choir! PTL!!!
