Christmas in November!
This past Tuesday on Election Day we elected to celebrate Christmas
We made gingerbread houses out of crackers and honey. My team won the competition with a Olaf in summer theme log cabin. We also made Christmas “crack” and cookies. I ate way too many sweets and had a stomach ache. We also did a white elephant and Christmas caroling competition. But we finished our night with a reenactment of the Christmas story and song of worship. Our Ecuadorian host and translators were also invited and it was their first ever American Christmas.
Are you gonna celebrate Christmas this year? How are you going to do so? Why do we even celebrate Christmas?
For me it’s the fulfillment of God’s promise to send a savior.
- John 1:14: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us”. This verse affirms the incarnation, where Jesus’s birth makes God accessible and present.
How cool is it to be able to depend on someone who will always fulfill His promises and never let you down. Who made the ultimate sacrifice by sending His son so we could be made a new and lavished in His love.
Some promises I have witnessed this last couple week is healing in my own body and on our team.
Jeremiah 30:17. “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord,
I went to er and three doctor visits for various girls on our team and all have been healed.
Also witnessed provision: Two girls and the ministry host bought shoes for a family from Venezuela that were walking around barefoot
““So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”
Matthew 6:31-33
And I witnessed desires being granted as we have the cool opportunity to go to Cayambe and enjoy Gods creations of the earth
Psalm 37:4, which states, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart”.Psalm 19:1: “The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.”
What promises have you witnessed lately?
What things do you need to ask and proclaim in His name?

im still 63% shy of my fundraising goal please pray and consider helping financially and please reach out and let me know how I can be praying for you. Thank you to all of your support physically emotionally and spiritually!!
