How do you rest?

When is the last day you dedicated a whole day to rest?

We had an adventure day if I’m being honest exploring Gods creation disconnecting without service breathing in fresh air and allowing my eyes to take in all the beauty around me allows me to forget all my problems and worries. My stress is reduced and I have more freedom to be joyous! And while on the mountain we got to share that joy of Jesus and the good news with 3 other people!!:) we got to mediate on 2 Corinthians 1 and share our Bible verses in the Bible.

Today our actual sabbath we went and empowered people who want to start a house church. If I’m being honest I didn’t want to go at first because it didn’t sound very restful. But the more I talked about God the more I found rest. The more burdens were stripped off of my and the more love and peace I felt.

When is the last time you sat down and abided in Him to find rest?

Matthew 11:28-30

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
