Time flies as it always does and we are transitioning from Brazil to Ecuador. πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¨ my other squad leader mate loves asking the team if they are a journey or a destination person.

So I’m going to ask you are you a journey or destination?

Do you just keep moving pressing on towards what is head? But what happens when we get there then what? What keeps us taking steps?

In life do we truly ever arrive? Or just get deeper in our relationship with friends with family and with Christ.

I think if it was about the destination we might miss out on all the fun things along the way.

Fun things along the way as we have been journeying along with Christ.

Market where we did university evangelism

Gospel sharing in uber rides too and from the beach and hikes

Fun raising goals meet turn into dance parties

Chores turn into karaoke

Lunch with church friends turns into feeding monkeys

Buying headphones turns into prayers

What journey have you been on lately? And who are you taking with you?

Psalm 121:8 β€” β€œThe Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”A reminder that every step, from departure to return, is seen.

What a wonderful reminder that in so many little things, we choose whether we want Christ to be apart of it, or if we want to handle it on our own. I was just reading a devotional about the verse John 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” The devotional goes onto say God isn’t condoning self-centered Christianity. He isn’t setting himself up to be some sort of vending machine, where we read our bibles and pray enough, then we’ll get what we want. Jesus is inviting us to immerse ourselves into a journey where our hearts begin to beat so consistently with His, that He can trust our dreams.
In all the things that we do, having our hearts aligned with who Christ is and what He is calling us to do, will produce a fruit in all the places we go and the interactions we have!
