Physical impact: And I am not talking about the 3 different earthquakes I survived while being there haha!

5 US teams in 3 weeks and two soccer tournaments of our own. (Not just the world cup lol) In those weeks, over 16 water filters were distributed and over 48 food bags were distributed. Each food bag is only $26 dollars and feeds a family of 4 for up to 2 months. Each water filter or food bag was delivered with a warm embrace and house visit where we were able to support the families emotional and spiritually.

Miracle testimony!

On my own free time I decided to cliff jump into water...however, I was so scared I closed my eyes and leaned slightly forward. When I popped my little head up after the 46 ft jump my right vision was blurry and three hours later blood was slowly dripping from my eye socket. When the nurse on the team looked at it that night I had a cut on the upper part of my eye. So we prayed and first thing in the morning I went into an eye doctor and God had healed it! No cut or abrasion just the eye hemorrhage was left. SO PRAISE!!

Discipleship :

In the pueblos(towns) there is a high alcoholism and lack of male presence in the home. Therefore the soccer program is a great opportunity to disciple the boys and break the generation cycle. Boys and girls 12-17 can play soccer. They play for 3 months then after that the church leaders get to know the parents for an additional 3 months and then they are admitted to the program to receive the food bags, filters, and daily breakfast. They are also assisted with homework and escorted to school. Some even receive seeds to grow their own garden, cultivating spiritual and physical fruit!Two of the boys in the program are already mentors themselves and mentoring around 10 boys each.

There is also Hineni a Latino discipleship program that starts in Nov that is only 65 dollars and includes food and lodging. Afterwards, many of the students participate in a 3 months mission of prayer to the 10'40 window after.

The Hebrew word Hineni (הנני) means "Here I am!". It is formed by combining the word for "behold" (hineh) and the pronoun for "I" (ani). It goes far beyond a simple physical check-in; it is a deep, spiritual statement of total readiness, attention, and surrender. Where are you being sent? What is he asking you to surrender too?

I think so often we pray for our next steps and ask what should I do next? Instead of Who do you want me to be? For if we embody His character no matter what we do will be an out pouring of His love. Is he calling you to the nations? Or to your family? If he is not sending you, could you help send someone?

Prayer:

Now on this trip I was sent as a leader, but so often I felt sidelined and all I could do was pray and abide in the Lord. At first I wrestled and felt confused. Why was I hear then? Can't I be more helpful? But He was so tender in reminding me that just by existing I am enough and I don't have to earn His love. I got go and partner with house of prayer and prayer mountain. There my heart for the nations started to develop and I had the opportunity to not just pray for our ministry partners, but for specific countries and unreached people groups.

Psalm 122:6: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May they prosper who love you.'"

We continually prayed by talking to the Lord in evangelism, in house visits, inviting Him to speak truth to us about our identity, and in ministry decisions and He continually showed up! One testimony from the church we were partnering with:

After walking past a home that we had just visited last week, we felt a strong nudge to knock on the door. When entered we immediately smelt a strong smell of gas. When asking the mother of the house hold if she smelt something. She said she smelt nothing. We immediately went to work and found the leaks and fixed the leaks!
