I have been a high school math teacher for the past five years.

I love working out and running. I competed collegiality in track and field at CWU and liked it so much I became a cross country and track and field coach. 

I love anything outdoors: hiking, biking, swimming, snowboarding, surfing, wake boarding, etc.

However, lately I have realized that "physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come." 1 Timothy 4:8.

I have a heart for missions and traveling so world race seems like a great fit. I have always identified myself as a Christian, but I want to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. To be honest I am nervous for the next 11 months, but excited to put my full trust in the Lord and see where he leads me.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength.
